Every Sunday, The beginning ABC's Wide World of Sports would show some athlete on a ski jump crashing at the end of the ramp with a voice over saying "The Agony of Defeat". Here's the story behind that footage (As told by Jim Mckay himself!)

You can hear him scream when he hits it but the funny part is what the announcer says.
